About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Yard Laborer for their Trench Safety Division. This role involves working outdoors in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, constructing trench, MAP boxes, and hydraulic shoring by hand. Responsibilities include loading and unloading shoring using a sit-down forklift, performing equipment inventory, pressure washing equipment, occasional painting, organizing inventory, keeping the work area in order, assembling MAP Boxes, and performing minor repairs on hydraulic systems. Responsibilities

• Constructing trench, MAP boxes, and hydraulic shoring by hand.
• Load and unload shoring on a sit-down forklift for customers and drivers, ensuring the load and trailer are properly secured.
• Regularly perform an inventory on equipment.
• Pressure Washing equipment and returning to stock.
• Occasional painting.
• Organizing inventory and keeping work area in order.
• Assembling MAP Boxes and doing minor repairs on hydraulic systems.
• Working with the team to safety and efficiently fill the orders.
