Yard Laborer - Trench Safety
About The Position
Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Part-Time Equipment Support I - Yard Laborer for their Trench Safety Division in El Paso, TX. This role involves working outdoors with team members to construct trench, MAP boxes, and hydraulic shoring by hand. A key responsibility is loading and unloading shoring on a sit-down forklift for customers and drivers, ensuring proper load and trailer security. The position also includes regular equipment inventory and other assigned duties. Requirements
- Ability to work well on your own or within a team
- Working outdoors (This is NOT a warehouse position!)
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred
- Bilingual a plus
Responsibilities
- Load and unload equipment for customers and drivers ensuring the load and trailer are properly secured.
- Regularly perform an inventory on equipment and other various duties as assigned.
- Working outdoors with fellow branch members constructing trench, MAP boxes and hydraulic shore materials to specific dimensions.
