About The Position

San Luis Hauling, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a full-time Yard Laborer to join our team in San Luis Obispo, CA! This is a full-time, long-term position with full benefits! The schedule will be Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $20 - 21.25/hour. This is an outdoor, labor-intensive position that is physically demanding and requires heavy lifting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position
• Ability to work/operate safely and adhere to all safety policies
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
• Flexibility to rotate through various tasks as needed
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Pressure-washing containers and equipment
• Container assembly/breakdown
• Painting containers and around the facility
• Litter/debris cleanup
• General site/yard maintenance
• Operating forklift
• Other assigned laborer duties
