About The Position

This position is responsible for gathering and packaging construction materials for transportation to project sites and placing them in their designated locations upon their return. The role involves collecting construction materials, small machinery, and tools using company equipment management software, packaging them for transport, and operating machinery like forklifts to load and unload. It also includes gathering returned materials and ensuring they are placed in their correct locations or sent for repair, while adhering to safety and company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or any combination of education or professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to complete work with great accuracy.
• Capable of communicating with tact and working with a variety of team members.
• A valid driver's license.
• Experience and proficiency in operating a wide range of manual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collects construction materials, small machinery, and tools for orders from the company's equipment management software.
• Appropriately packages construction materials, small machinery, and tools for transportation to project sites.
• Operates forklifts and other machinery to load, unload, and move materials from shelving units and large trucks, as well as various power and hand tools while performing assigned duties.
• Gathers returned construction materials, small machinery, and tools and returns them to their designated locations or to the repair shop.
• Follows proper safety and company procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
