About The Position

As a Yard Laborer, you’ll get to maintain the Plant’s overall cleanliness by cleaning the yard, warehouse areas, bathrooms, breakroom, and empty all trash. This role is very important to the success of our plant, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to add to our team! 48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America! We provide end-to-end pallet solutions, from supply to retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. We are truly Pallet Management Made Simple, our workforce is the heart and soul of our business, and we’re looking for our next Yard Laborer to join our team!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attention to detail required to promote safety for you and others
• High motivation and ability to work overtime as necessary
• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area, bathrooms, breakroom, offices, or frequently touched equipment
• Pick up debris/garbage and dispose properly
• Communicate directly with plant management on a regular basis
• Must maintain a clean & safe working environment
• Empty all trash
