About The Position

National Shunt Service LLC is hiring a full-time yard jockey for night work. The role involves moving trailers in and out of dock doors and between facility buildings, coordinating trailer placement with the warehouse, inspecting the yard truck and trailers, and using software to receive and complete moves as needed. The position offers a set schedule with overtime available. Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move trailers in and out of dock doors and within and between facility buildings.
• Communicate routinely with the warehouse about trailer placement at dock doors and in the drop lot.
• Inspect the yard truck daily, monitor its condition, and communicate repair needs to supervisors.
• Use software to receive and complete moves as needed.
• Continuously follow safe operating procedures.
• Inspect trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
