About The Position

NSSL is seeking a Yard Jockey to join their team. This role involves safely and efficiently moving trailers within and between facility buildings, communicating with the warehouse regarding trailer placement, and performing daily inspections of the yard truck. The position requires continuous adherence to safe operating procedures and utilization of software for move assignments. Routine communication with warehouse regarding the placement of trailers both in door and in the drop lot
Daily inspection of yard truck, monitoring truck condition and communicate with supervisors when repair(s) is/are required
Utilize software to receive and complete moves on an as-needed basis
Continuously follow safe operating procedures
