About The Position

Stericycle is now part of WM. The Yard Hostler-NonCDL is a non-driving position within the Operations Team. This role assists in moving and spotting equipment to support terminal/warehouse operations, organizing and processing material for shipment, storage, or destruction. Responsibilities include trailer sanitation, equipment movement, conducting daily inspections, and ensuring timely movements and accurate inventory positioning. The Yard Hostler may organize vehicles within the Stericycle yard to prepare them for unloading, loading, and transport, operating vehicles only within company property. Standard Plant Associate job duties may also be assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
Must be 21 years of age
0-1 year of experience
Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up.
Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.
Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.
Perform all Plant Associate job duties as assigned.
Assists in moving and spotting equipment required to facilitate the needs of terminals/warehouses in organizing and processing material for shipment, storage or destruction.
Trailer sanitation.
Conducting daily inspections.
Organize vehicles within a Stericycle yard to ensure they are ready for unloading, loading, and transport.
