About The Position

The Load Builder is primarily responsible for loading and unloading deliveries in the yard and assisting customers in the yard as needed.

Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes, and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Available for occasional overtime.
Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods (8–10 hours per day).
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and be coachable.
Honest, dependable, punctual, and demonstrates a high level of integrity.
Strong organizational, customer service, and teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction while completing daily tasks.

Forklift and load-building skills are not required but are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with those skills.

Stage loads for delivery or will call (accurately pull correct products from picking ticket).
Load and unload trucks as needed.
Operate a forklift in a safe and proper manner, according to company procedures/protocols.
Follow all safety procedures, ensuring all staff adhere to them as well.
Put away products in proper bin locations.
Help customers in the yard as needed.
Work well with others.
Build lumber packs in a timely and accurate manner.
