As a Yard Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly. You’ll operate industrial forklifts to manage the flow of raw materials and finished products throughout the manufacturing process. This includes ensuring production lines are consistently supplied with materials, finished goods are removed promptly and safely, and inventory is organized to maximize efficiency and productivity.

This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and safety are essential. Over time, you’ll develop a high level of expertise and the ability to identify and correct issues quickly. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality finished products.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain forklift cleanliness
• Load and unload production lines and machinery
• Transport and stack forms and materials
• Inspect finished products for quality concerns
• Package, label, and transport finished goods
• Change forklift batteries as needed
• Learn and assist with other production-related tasks
