About The Position
Purity Dairy is looking for a dependable Yard Driver for their Nashville facility. This role involves safely and efficiently operating shuttles to move trailers between buildings, staging areas, and loading dock doors. The Yard Driver will build relationships with team members through a positive and friendly attitude, and become familiar with operations to meet needs and expectations. Purity Dairy is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative. DFA manufactures a variety of dairy products and is passionate about delivering the simple pleasures of dairy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year related experience preferred
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to push, pull and lift to 55 pounds
- Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
