About The Position

The Yard Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible handling of material and operation of equipment. This is not a CDL position, more for an operator. The position is located 30 minutes north of Memphis in Drummonds, TN.

Requirements

• 3+ years of diesel truck experience
• Must be able to drive a stick shift
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Move bulk material and cargo around yard
• Complete daily paperwork
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, complete daily pre-trip inspection.
• Perform general labor tasks to assist with material processing and property maintenance, or other projects as needed.
• Follow all safety and operational policies, regulations, and programs.
• Successfully complete all required training programs
• Monitor equipment and report any issues or concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist other staff as needed.
