Prime is the #1 refrigerated fleet in America, and we have a rare opening at our Reed City, Michigan location for a Yard Delivery Driver. This is a local driving position where you will be moving trailers from our yard to a distribution point just 3 miles away. Requirements

• Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required.
• Multitasking and a flexible schedule required.
• Required 3rd shift availability could be necessary for this position.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience hauling a 53-ft trailer OTR is required - must be within the last two years.
• This position requires the ability to get in and out of trailers and hook/disconnect trailers multiple times per day.
• Candidate must be able to lift and carry 20lbs (includes mattress lift, rebar and sledgehammer to unlock brakes).
• Candidate must also be able to push and pull 80lbs (includes fuel hose, truck cab hood and clutch).
• Must have valid CDL with six months of CDL A experience and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to being hired.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Moving trailers from our yard to our customer’s distribution centers nearby.
• Spotting inbound & outbound trailers.
• Ensuring sufficient equipment is available for customer needs.
• Must have good communication with drivers on load requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Prime drivers and customers.
• Additional work-related tasks as needed.
