Yard Coordinator (Lockeford)

Works overtime as assigned. Maintains a safe and clean work environment, returns all tools after use to proper storage location, and performs routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning, organizing). Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Identifies unsafe working conditions and notifies supervisor. Retrieves pick tickets and stages product for next days deliveries and/or transfers. Provides daily updates to the sales department on completed products/goods. Ensures that the yard is organized, product is properly stored, and product is easily accessible to load trucks or pull orders as requested by customers. Coordinates with management team and truck drivers to ensure there are no loading or product issues. Utilizes motorized equipment, including forklifts, to load/unload shipments for internal and external customers, and to transport produced material for storage and for yard organization. Works with Production Planning, Quality Control, and the Yard team to ensure all yarded products are properly marked.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience working in the construction and/or manufacturing industry.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the construction industry as a supplier, contractor, or office support function.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor).
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
