Cage/Rebar Fabricator (Lockeford)
About The Position
The Rebar Cage Fabricator is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. You will be creating steel cages based on production drawings while working in the OUTDOOR area of the production facility. The structural integrity and quality of our products depends on you doing your job correctly. Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you’ll primarily work with the cage fabrication, quality control and production teams. Much like you, our founder, Don Jensen was looking for a way to support his family, so he started his Company in 1968. Since founded, we’ve been supporting communities across Nevada, California, Missouri, Arizona, Washington, and Hawaii. Jensen Infrastructure likely has an impact on your daily life. We build culverts to take water away from your neighborhoods, underground utility boxes to hold cables, and manholes to allow workers access to the sewers deep below the roads we drive on. Responsibilities
- Reading production drawings to determine size of mesh, rebar needed for each fabricated cage.
- Tying reinforcing rebar together per specifications with hand tools
- Ensuring reinforcing steel/rebar is set correctly per quality control standards.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
