About The Position

The Yard Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, organization, and overall efficiency of the equipment yard. This role ensures all equipment is received, staged, tracked, and moved accurately while maintaining a safe, clean, and highly organized work environment. Serving as the central point of accountability for yard flow, the Yard Coordinator works proactively to eliminate bottlenecks, improve operational efficiency, and support seamless coordination between departments. While not a direct people leader, this role sets the standard for execution within the yard, reinforces processes, and collaborates closely with Service, Sales, and Parts teams to ensure seamless operations. Success in this position requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to operate with urgency and organization in a fast-paced environment. This role is designed as a foundational position to learn the business from the ground up, offering exposure to multiple departments and processes across the dealership. Requirements

  • Have your own tools or be willing to grow your tools as your skills advance
  • Be capable of driving trucks and trailers for local deliveries
  • Have excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of computers, be able to acquire manufactures Certifications as needed
  • Physical ability to lift/handle heavy items
  • Have a Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all activities within the yard, including materials handling
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy in the yard
  • Manage inbound and outbound transportation activities, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
  • Supervise Rental pickups and returns using our Record 360 Program
  • Adherence to safety protocols, & safe operations thru out your daily activities
  • Perform routine maintenance and fluid checks, clean equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments and help out where you are needed
