About The Position

As the Yard Compliance Supervisor, you will be tasked with developing various processes in an effort to create consistency with machine quality before it is delivered to a customer as well as maintain attachment inventory at each Yancey Bros. Co. location. Once these processes are developed it will be your job to train each Yard Coordinator and hold them accountable to meeting your documented standards. You will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with each Yard Coordinator as well as each Branch Manager and work as a team player with each.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in yard coordination and inventory workflows.
  • Critical thinker, able to lead by example, be comfortable with making decisions, show initiative, and a problem solver.

  • Strong accountability and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced problem solving capabilities
  • Previous experience and demonstrated success in team leadership and leader development
  • Understanding of the heavy equipment and associated attachments
  • Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics, and the ability to impact them
  • Minimum two years in a sales operations.
  • Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives.
  • PC proficiency

  • Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree.

Responsibilities

  • Train and ensure Yard Coordinators approving assets leaving a location understand that the assets must meet the standards expected by the customer and Yancey Bros. Co.
  • Develop and document clear attachment inventory processes and ensure they are followed at each location
  • Develop and document yard organization plans
  • Ensure accurate movement and documentation of assets on and off each yard
  • Schedule and execute a monthly inventory at each location
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
  • Complete a Driver’s Safety Course
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager
