About The Position

We have the following position at our Kern Varner Brothers Inc. Hauling division: Yard Attendant. The Yard Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and yard area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Ability to make sound judgment.
• Ability to stand continuously during assigned shift and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat and kneel.

Responsibilities

• Division yard cleaning and organization activities.
• Barrel and Bin Cleaning
• Repairs (barrels only and assist welder with bins as needed)
• Container inventory & organization
• Janitorial cleaning (vacuuming, restroom cleaning, empty trash containers, etc)
• Parking lot and entryway cleaning
• Landscape cleaning (weeding, shrubs, trees, and grass areas)
• SWPPP Maintenance & Litter Control (on-site BMPs) – Daily
• Perform other duties as assigned
