About The Position

Burrtec is a family-owned company that firmly believes the key element to our success is knowing how important each employee is in the organization. We have the following position available: Yardman. The Yard Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and yard area.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a safety-sensitive environment.
- Ability to make sound judgment.
- Ability to stand continuously during assigned shift and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat and kneel.
Responsibilities
- Division yard cleaning and organization activities.
- Barrel and Bin Cleaning
- Repairs (barrels only and assist welder with bins as needed)
- Container inventory & organization
- Janitorial cleaning (vacuuming, restroom cleaning, empty trash containers, etc)
- Parking lot and entryway cleaning
- Landscape cleaning (weeding, shrubs, trees, and grass areas)
- SWPPP Maintenance & Litter Control (on-site BMPs) – Daily
- Perform other duties as assigned
