About The Position
Power Trip Rentals is a trusted leader in the equipment rental industry, providing top-quality tools, machinery, and customer service to construction, events, film/TV, and utility customers. We pride ourselves on our strong team, safety-focused culture, and commitment to helping our customers get the job done right. The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment across our outdoor yard, staging equipment for rental, and keeping the yard organized and running efficiently. This role also inspects equipment before and after rental to document any lost or damaged items, and performs minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, or equipment rental setting a plus
- Forklift experience (or willingness to learn and get certified)
- General mechanical aptitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Station and retrieve equipment throughout the outdoor yard
- Operate a forklift to load and unload rental equipment
- Stage equipment and prep it to be rent-ready
- Inspect equipment before and after rental, documenting any loss or damage
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
