About The Position
This role involves providing assistance in the paint shop by setting up and removing steel beams for painters, loading steel beams onto flatbed trucks in the yard, and using proper strapping techniques to secure loads. The associate will also assist with taping areas, operate overhead cranes, and perform snow removal during winter months. The position requires the ability to work on your feet for 8 hours, work outside in all weather conditions, and work night shifts.
Requirements
- Completion of high school
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours and work outside in all weather conditions
- Able to work night shifts
- Own transportation
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving is an asset
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication shop considered an asset
Responsibilities
