About The Position

84 Lumber is hiring a Yard Associate responsible for building loads for deliveries and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard. The role includes loading and unloading lumber and other building supplies and operating a forklift. Other duties may be assigned. The position is located at 5170 Kalamath St, Denver, CO 80221, and pays $20 per hour. Overtime is paid at time and a half. Candidates must authorize a background check, pass a urinalysis drug screening, and pass a math assessment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• Must authorize a background check.
• Must pass a urinalysis drug screening.
• Must pass a math assessment.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and other building supplies.
