About The Position
We are seeking a remote Xactimate estimator to write accurate scopes for insurance restoration across our Texas SERVPRO markets. This role involves owning estimate production for water, fire, mold, and related restoration work. The estimator will write in Xactimate, support supplements and carrier documentation, and ensure files move efficiently to avoid bottlenecks in production and billing.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hands-on Xactimate estimating experience (must be named on résumé).
- Proven estimating and scope-writing experience for insurance repair or restoration, or closely related construction estimating with carrier work.
- Comfortable working fully remote, including clear written communication and reliable internet.
- US work authorization.
- Ability to handle a concurrent estimate load, not one file at a time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SERVPRO, WorkCenter, XactAnalysis, or Symbility.
- Multi-location or franchise experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Write complete Xactimate estimates and scopes for restoration jobs across five Texas SERVPRO franchises.
- Build line-item pricing that holds up with carriers and adjusters, including supplements, betterments, and code items as needed.
- Incorporate photos, notes, and field documentation into clear, defensible estimates.
- Collaborate with Job File Coordinators, project managers, and location leaders to ensure estimating does not bottleneck the file.
- Track open estimate and supplement work and meet turnaround targets.
- Maintain organized, consistent estimating work that is ready for audit.
