X42 Pipefitter Product Trainer 2
About The Position
This role involves planning, developing, and coordinating in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. The trainer will obtain information to prepare programs, develop course content, determine methodology, and coordinate the development of training aids. They will conduct training sessions, develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness, and continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and keep technical information up-to-date. Key responsibilities include facilitating Shipbuilder Academy New Hire Training, Confined Space Initial and Refresher Training, and X42 Pipefitters New Hire Training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of exempt experience; OR Master's degree and 1 year of exempt experience.
- NNS Apprentice School graduate may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
- High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
- Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
- 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience may be used as equivalent to the number of exempt years of experience required, in addition to the education requirement.
