About The Position

As an X-Ray Technologist at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging. You will operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues. You will apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times. You will perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards. You will monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations. You will record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (preferred) or eligible to obtain ARRT certification
  • 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
