About The Position

IHCWV is hiring an X-Ray Technologist to support its primary care and urgent care team in Harrisville, West Virginia. The role performs diagnostic X-ray imaging for primary and urgent care visits in a fast-paced setting, working closely with providers to support timely and accurate diagnostics. The employer offers a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, paid in structured installments, and may provide buyout support toward existing service agreements for qualified candidates. Recent graduates are welcome.

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography, or eligibility for certification.
West Virginia state licensure, or ability to obtain it.
Comfort working at an urgent care pace.
Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
Ability to diligently implement radiation safety protocols while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging supporting primary and urgent care visits.
Work closely with providers to support fast, accurate diagnostics in an urgent care setting.
Maintain radiation safety and HIPAA compliance.
Apply knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to position patients accurately and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
Use aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety across imaging modalities.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret images and contribute to diagnostic evaluations that guide treatment plans.
Document procedures, including patient information, imaging details, and safety measures taken.
