About The Position
We are looking for a motivated and dependable X-Ray Technician who can also assist with Medical Assistant (MA) duties to join our multi-specialty practice in Monroe, NY. This is a full-time position for a candidate who is flexible, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment. The ideal candidate must have a valid X-ray technician certification and be willing to support both imaging and front-line clinical tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Active X-ray technician certification required
- Ability to assist with MA responsibilities when needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working full-time in a fast-paced practice
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a medical office, urgent care, or outpatient setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray imaging in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process
- Ensure proper imaging quality and patient safety
- Assist with Medical Assistant duties as needed, including: Rooming patients, Taking vital signs, Updating patient charts, Assisting providers with exams and procedures, Basic clinical support and patient intake
- Maintain equipment and report any issues appropriately
- Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection control procedures
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
