About The Position
Novant Health Urgent Care is seeking an X-ray technologist to join their team. This role involves operating x-ray equipment to produce images that assist providers in diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries. Additionally, the technologist will be involved in patient triage and rooming, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and summarizing the patient's reason for visit.
Requirements
- 1-year degree in Radiographic technology
- Current SC license for radiographic technology
- Limited Practice Radiographer-General Certification accepted
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance
- Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends
- Willing to work at other centers as needed
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.
Nice To Haves
- 2-year degree in Radiographic technology
- Full practice radiographer certification
Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment and produce x-ray images to aid providers with diagnosing and/or treating diseases or injuries.
