About The Position

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Float X-Ray Technologist for its outpatient imaging centers. This full-time role floats between facilities in Austin and Round Rock and is scheduled Monday through Friday. The technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting, supporting patient safety, comfort, accurate imaging, and an exceptional patient experience. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT (R) registered, or registry-eligible if applicable.
State licensure as required.

Nice To Haves

Current BLS certification preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, and bone density procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
Position patients properly and produce quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
Provide patients with clear instructions and compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
Maintain equipment functionality and promptly report issues.
Follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
Keep examination rooms and work areas clean and organized.
