About The Position
Precision Imaging Centers, Northeast Florida’s leader in outpatient imaging, is seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technologist to join our award-winning team at our Gate Parkway location. Requirements
- Current Florida license as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT(R) certification
- BLS certification
- Venipuncture experience or willingness to learn
- Willingness to perform both X-ray and DEXA bone density examinations
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients, taking medical history and ensuring comfort throughout the exam
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations using proper positioning and exposure techniques
- Perform DEXA bone density scans (training provided if needed)
- Ensure image quality meets radiologist requirements and patient safety standards
- Perform venipuncture when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging area
- Collaborate with teammates and assist other departments as needed
