About The Position

Evergreen Radia is looking for a X-Ray Technologist. We are an outpatient imaging center, open Monday – Saturday, located in Kirkland, Washington. Evergreen Radia is a Radia Imaging Center. Our team of more than 200 board-certified radiologists, with specialty training in everything from Mammography to Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal to Interventional, provide services to more than 50 hospital and specialty clinic partners with on-site and teleradiology coverage and interpretations. Technologists always have a radiologist to communicate with. Kirkland is a suburb of the high-tech area of Seattle, which has all the big city amenities you could wish for: universities, professional sports teams, Broadway performances, intriguing art galleries, and world-class museums. It boasts an amazing number of year-round outdoor recreational opportunities just a short drive away. You'll find mountains for skiing, hiking, and biking within 1 hour and 3 national parks within 3 hours. To protect physicians, employees, and patients of Radia from contracting COVID-19 and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Radia requires that all Health Care Setting Workers receive a COVID-19 vaccination, subject to the exemptions. New hires will be required to present written proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a written request for an Exemption within 30 days of hire.

Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study
Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)
Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR

Nice To Haves

One year of X-Ray experience preferred

Responsibilities

Properly performs X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and DEXA imaging to ACR standards
Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging
Assists radiologist with specialized procedures
Prepares sterile trays
Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
