X-Ray Technologist - Full-Time | Days (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) - Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join their team at NYP/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. This full-time, non-supervisory role involves operating advanced imaging equipment to produce radiographs and computer images under the guidance of a radiologist and department supervisor. The technologist will play an essential part in diagnosing complex conditions and delivering high-quality care alongside a world-class clinical team. The position is located at 3959 Broadway (at 165th Street), New York, NY 10032. This is a union role requiring registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, with alternating weekends and rotating holidays. New graduates are welcome, with a temporary license required prior to the start date and the NYS Radiologic Technologist license to be obtained within six months of hire. All roles require on-site presence, and employees must live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
- Maintains continuing education credits per ARRT requirements.
- Temporary license required prior to start date.
- Must provide exam date.
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire.
