About The Position
This full-time opportunity is ideal for an imaging professional dedicated to providing excellent patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Medical Radiography or equivalent
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Perform general radiography procedures, including patient positioning and image acquisition
- Prepare patients and accurately interpret physician orders for imaging exams
- Operate radiographic equipment and adjust technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Ensure patient safety through proper shielding and radiation protection practices
- Review images for quality and completeness
- Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow
