X-Ray Technologist Float
About The Position
We are seeking a Full Time X-ray Technologist Float to cover various locations in Tucson and Green Valley. The successful candidate will primarily work for our Interventional Radiology Team, but will float to other sites for coverage as needed. Radiology Ltd. is a partner company of Lumexa Imaging and is the premier provider of diagnostic and interventional radiology services in Southern Arizona since 1933. Our company’s subspecialized, fellowship-trained experts in body imaging, breast imaging, interventional radiology, molecular imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, and pediatric radiology utilize advanced technology to deliver high-quality expedient interpretations. Our radiologists are leaders in the medical community, participating and serving in leadership roles in local hospitals and regional medical societies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Current Arizona State Licensure
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sensitive to the needs of patients
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to follow the instructions of the Radiologist
- View images and capable of adjusting parameters to achieve high quality diagnostic imaging
Nice To Haves
- Interventional Radiology experience is preferred.
- WE WILL TRAIN YOU on the job for other modalities such as: Mammography, MRI, CT and DEXA!
Responsibilities
- Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.
- Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
- Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality x-ray examinations.
- Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.
- Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.
- Ability to maneuver equipment
- Ability to prepare patients for procedures including moving patients
