About The Position
This position requires an X-ray Technician with at least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting. The role involves working 32 hours per week, with a choice of first or second shift, and requires weekend and holiday coverage. Specific shift times include 7-3:30, 7:30-4, 8-4:30, 12P-8:30P, 2:30-11P, and 3-11:30P. Day shifts are scheduled Monday-Friday, and second shifts are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training.
- 2 year minimum in acute care setting required.
- Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire required.
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- BLS required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to maintain confidential information required.
