About The Position

Performs a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages. Applies principles, theories and techniques of pertinent modality to provide reliable test results. Provides daily leadership of patient and department workflow.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program [REQUIRED]
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist’s current certification (in relevant modality) [REQUIRED]
  • Current Oregon license or recent graduate of approved program and holds a valid temporary Oregon permit previous to taking ARRT registry. Registry must be obtained within a reasonable time period not to exceed one year (in relevant modality) [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) [REQUIRED]
  • Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter [PREFERRED]
  • Image Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter [PREFERRED]
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred [PREFERRED]
  • Various Modalities: Radiologic Technology Mammography CT Technology MRI Technology
  • Three years previous experience in hospital setting preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
  • Willing to look at New Grads or those with less experience
  • Certification Requirements ARRT BLS
