About The Position
The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic imaging skills, excellent patient-care abilities, and a commitment to providing safe and accurate radiologic services in a fast-paced military healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current applicable Radiologic Technologist certification and/or state licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous diagnostic X-ray experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Properly position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Review images for quality and ensure studies are completed accurately.
- Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and patient-safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
