Requirements

  • Current ARRT Certification required.
  • Current state radiologic technologist licensure, if applicable.
  • Working knowledge of medical imaging procedures, anatomy, medical terminology, and EHR systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and radiation safety requirements.
  • License/Certification: ARRT Certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an orthopedic or physician practice setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients properly, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EHR) and imaging systems.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is maintained, cleaned, and functioning properly.
  • Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and timely patient care.
  • Assist providers and clinical staff with patient rooming, basic clinical support, vital signs, patient intake, and other clinical tasks when needed.
  • Help maintain exam rooms and clinical areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper supply levels.
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and patient communication related to imaging services as needed.
  • Promote a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused environment at all times.
  • Perform additional clinical or operational duties as assigned.
