About The Position
We are seeking experienced X-Ray Technicians for a 13-week contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role supports the Radiology department in a pediatric hospital setting and requires strong X-Ray imaging experience, prior travel experience, ARRT certification, BLS certification, and the ability to support weekend day-shift coverage. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience required
- Current ARRT Certification Required
- BLS/BCLS Certification Required
- Prior travel experience required
- Must provide up-to-date resume, 2 recent X-Ray supervisor/manager references, skills checklist, RTO at submission, flu vaccination if in season, and nicotine testing with drug screen
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-Ray examinations according to physician orders and radiology protocols
- Prepare and position pediatric patients safely and appropriately for imaging procedures
- Operate radiographic equipment while following radiation safety and image quality standards
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and support efficient radiology workflow
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare team members to support quality patient care
