About The Position

Provides health care services to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Requirements

  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, positioning techniques, patient transfers
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects
  • Ethical and professional conduct
  • Good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Graduate of Certificate Program in Radiography or Associate in Science Degree
  • Certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in radiography.
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Radiography.
  • BLS required.

Nice To Haves

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty, weekend rotations.
  • For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license.
