About The Position

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of clinical settings. This role includes working with diverse patient populations and supporting both routine and emergency imaging needs. Responsibilities include performing high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders, operating imaging equipment safely and effectively, and assisting with bedside/portable imaging throughout the facility. The role supports imaging needs in the Emergency Department, ICU/PICU/NICU, and Operating Room (including C-Arm procedures). The technologist will prepare patients for procedures, ensure their comfort and safety, accurately document and upload images using PACS, and follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

  • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Active New Jersey License
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical X-ray experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a wide range of imaging procedures, including: Chest (AP, routine, decubitus views), Abdomen (KUB, supine, upright, decubitus), Spine, pelvis, and extremities, Skull, facial bones, sinuses, and TMJ
  • Strong experience with: Portable/bedside imaging, Trauma imaging and emergency cases, Operating Room procedures (C-Arm preferred)
  • Knowledge of contrast studies (including barium procedures)
  • Familiarity with imaging equipment such as GE Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers
  • Strong patient positioning and image quality skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • Pay: $57 per hour
  • Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule: Day 5:30am-1:30pm or Night 11pm-7am
