About The Position

This position is for an X-Ray Tech in the Radiology/Cardiology department. The shift is 5x8s, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no on-call requirement unless there are callouts, in which case the tech may be asked to help cover. No weekend requirements. The traveler will not need to float between units or facilities. Two years of experience is required, and first-time travelers are accepted. Required certifications include BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA (R). A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency, as MUSC does not provide them to travelers. Fluoro experience is required, and C-arm experience is preferred. Epic experience is required. Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at a 10% reduced bill rate. All RTO must be submitted with the application. The facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. The facility is a 70-bed hospital. Scrubs should be black or teal. Charting is minimal basic EPIC charting and Sectra PACS documentation. Parking is free. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Perform Fluoroscopy procedures.
