About The Position

PRN X-Ray Technologist / MRI Tech Assistant (with MRI Training) Location: Orlando Center – Near Millenia Mall (Orlando, FL) Schedule: PRN | As Needed (flexibility for evenings and weekends required) Be Part of Our Expansion into Orlando Precision Imaging Centers—the #1 outpatient imaging provider in Northeast Florida—is expanding into Orlando! This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team from the ground up while gaining hands-on experience in MRI. We are seeking an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist to work as a PRN X-Ray Tech / MRI Tech Assistant. In this role, you will support MRI operations while receiving cross-training to grow your skills in a new modality. We’re looking for someone who is patient-focused, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Requirements

  • ARRT(R) registered and Florida-licensed Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Venipuncture experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Interest in cross-training into MRI
  • Ability to work a flexible PRN schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • No overnight shifts

Responsibilities

  • Take patient medical history and review exam orders
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation for MRI exams
  • Set technical parameters and assist in operating MRI equipment
  • Monitor image quality and assist with repeat scans if needed
  • Assist radiologists with procedures such as arthrograms
  • Support other imaging modalities as needed
  • Maintain clean, safe, and stocked exam rooms
