About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Part-Time Radiology Technologist for Memorial Hospital (Belleville, IL). This position is eligible for benefits and involves performing general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The Diagnostic Radiology Department at Memorial Hospital provides diagnostic digital radiographic imaging for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing a variety of digital and computed radiography, fluoroscopy, and mobile radiography.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• Radiology Technologist - Reg

Nice To Haves

• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
