CT / X-Ray Technologist SimonMed Imaging Clinical / Non-Exempt / On-Site Deliver advanced diagnostic excellence—producing high-quality CT and X-ray imaging with precision, while ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care across modalities. At SimonMed Imaging, diagnostic quality starts with you. Our CT / X-Ray Technologists play a critical dual-modality role in delivering high-caliber outpatient imaging. From routine radiographs to advanced CT exams, this role ensures every study is performed safely, accurately, and in alignment with the highest clinical standards in a fast-paced environment We are looking for a technologist who thrives in a dynamic clinical setting, brings strong cross-modality expertise, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements

  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) – Required
  • Current state licensure (as applicable) – Required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification – Required
  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or accredited equivalent
  • Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
  • Knowledge of CT and radiographic imaging protocols
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to manage workflow independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT certification in CT – Preferred or willingness to obtain
  • 1–2+ years of experience in X-ray and/or CT preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams with precision, producing diagnostic images while adhering to established protocols and departmental standards.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, evaluate image quality in real time, and consistently deliver diagnostic-grade studies that meet physician expectations.
  • Understand anatomy, imaging protocols, and equipment operation across CT and radiography.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within PACS and follow all departmental procedures.
  • Apply ALARA principles and ensure safe use of ionizing radiation in all procedures.
  • Obtain patient history, explain procedures clearly, and address concerns—ensuring a safe, comfortable, and professional patient experience every time.
  • Manage workload efficiently, maintain equipment readiness, and adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume outpatient environment with minimal supervision.
  • Build strong relationships with peers, radiologists, and staff while contributing to a positive and team-oriented clinical culture.
