About The Position

This position provides imaging expertise for patients of all ages, from neonatal/newborn to adults, in collaboration with physicians and/or nurse practitioners and nursing staff. The role performs quality diagnostic imaging examinations and/or limited CT exams using advanced clinical and technical knowledge. It maintains a strong focus on safe patient care in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols. The position also maintains knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, supporting departmental compliance in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• TMB certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CT registry required, or enrollment in a CT registry program to be completed within 18 months of hire.
• Maintain primary residence in Texas and all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations and/or limited CT exams for patients ranging from newborns to adults.
• Collaborate with physicians and/or nurse practitioners and nursing staff in support of patient care.
• Maintain safe patient care in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and radiation safety requirements in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer.
