About The Position

Arcarithm is seeking a talented X Lab Network Engineer E4 to join their team. This role will serve as the primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC X-Lab Test Program, as well as a Network Engineer and Developer supporting network build-out and deployments to the operational environment. The engineer will work with the X-Lab Events Team to understand the test schedule and support all upcoming tests. Requirements

Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
A solid understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
Proven network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting experience.
Firewall experience with Juniper firewalls is a must.
Experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
Hands-on experience with multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts.
Familiarity with RMF, including hands-on work with RMF topics and the assessment of compliance of information systems with DoD RMF standards (review, verify, and validate required DoD IA RMF documentation and artifacts using DoDI 8510.01/DoD Risk Management Framework).
Effective communication skills with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers as well as independently on large field projects.
Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
Active Security Clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

The ideal candidate will be a proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies.
Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration skills.
Previous background working in a virtual environment.
Previous background working with dockers and containers.
Administer ACAS and ESS (formally HBSS).
Previous experience with ConfigOS.
