Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a WSK/WSH Packer – 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am). Overtime is available as needed. Packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages including any of the following product types – WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH product types.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
One to three months manufacturing experience
Ability to stand during entire shift.
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”

Responsibilities

Operates two packing machines, weigh scale, bar code printer and mainframe terminal.
Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card.
Set counters.
Run out leader tape.
Places resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines).
Starts machine by pressing keyboard button.
Operates machine until the quantity desired is packed.
Runs out carrier tape tail to wind around end of reel.
Removes finished reel from machine.
If order quantity requires more than what is on reel, operator goes through previous procedures.
