About The Position

The Wraparound Services Trainer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality training, coaching, and technical assistance related to the Wraparound model and Louisiana Coordinated System of Care (CSoC). The Trainer ensures staff across regions are trained to implement Wraparound services with fidelity to the model, demonstrate core Wraparound principles, and meet all state training and certification requirements. This position promotes staff competency in family-driven, youth-guided, strengths-based practices and supports implementation of the Wraparound process consistent with Louisiana Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) and CSoC standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Education, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Wraparound services, behavioral health, child welfare, or systems of care programs.
  • Experience providing training, coaching, or adult education strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the Wraparound model and family-driven service delivery.
  • Knowledge of Louisiana CSoC requirements and Medicaid documentation standards.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging, competency-based training programs.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and evaluation abilities.
  • Completion of state-approved Wraparound foundational training and coaching courses required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required CSoC or OBH certifications related to training and Wraparound service delivery.
  • Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel between regions as needed to conduct training.
  • Eligible for Medicaid/Medicare participation (no sanctions or exclusions)
  • No findings on the Louisiana State Adverse Action List
  • Complete TB testing
  • Complete AHA-recognized First Aid, CPR, and seizure training (unless exempt due to licensure)
  • Maintain all required Wraparound training and credentialing

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain training curricula related to Wraparound principles, the four phases of the Wraparound process, documentation standards, and coaching practices.
  • Deliver training to new hires, existing staff, supervisors, and community partners on Wraparound implementation, CSoC service expectations, and best practices.
  • Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions to build internal training capacity among Wraparound staff and leadership.
  • Ensure training materials align with Louisiana CSoC, Medicaid documentation standards, and program requirements.
  • Provide individual and group coaching to Wraparound staff to reinforce fidelity to the Wraparound model.
  • Observe staff performance and provide feedback, mentoring, and skill-building support to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Monitor trainee competency and provide remedial coaching or additional training when necessary.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Wraparound model and CSoC values, providing guidance to staff during service implementation.
  • Evaluate training outcomes and staff adherence to the Wraparound model using established fidelity measures and evaluation tools.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement teams to address skill gaps, documentation quality, and compliance with SMO and LDH standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certifications, competencies, and staff training completion.
  • Serve as a liaison between Wraparound leadership, program and clinical leadership, and external CSoC partners including SMO, Magellan, and Family Support Organizations (FSO).
  • Identify training needs and workforce development opportunities through communication with supervisors and leadership.
  • Support the integration of Wraparound principles across all CSoC services and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure training materials and delivery methods meet Louisiana Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) and CSoC certification standards.
  • Prepare reports summarizing training activities, outcomes, and staff competency for leadership and contractual reporting requirements.
