About The Position

The Wound Care Therapy Nurse provides specialized care to individuals in the ambulatory setting with complex draining wounds, fistulas or skin breakdown secondary to circulatory compromise. In planning nursing interventions, the Wound Care Therapy Nurse must consider related physiological, social and behavioral components that may result from or affect the individual's response and/or adjustment to altered body function and image. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years of Direct patient care experience in an acute care setting.
  • Teaching experience or leadership skills.
